MAVUNOLAB is Tanzania’s first post-harvest innovation center established to develop homegrown solutions to prevent post-harvest food losses in Tanzania. We work and engage young graduate engineers and early-stage innovators in the development of low-cost and efficient post-harvest technologies that reduce food loss and waste.
At MAVUNOLAB, youth are the pillar of our programs, services, and products we develop. We are a team of young, passionate, and highly skilled individuals striving to transform the agriculture economy in Tanzania.

We believe homegrown technological solutions have a high potential to solve food shortages, rural poverty, and youth unemployment. To realize this potential, we have made it our mission to work with young engineers and individuals with the most promising solutions capable of addressing post-harvest challenges.
